The results of  West Bengal JEXPO & VOCLET results 2015 is expected soon  at or The WB JEXPO and VOCLET is conducted by the WBSCTE for admission to the 1st year of diploma courses (engineering/ technology) in government polytechnics, government sponsored polytechnics and self-financed polytechnics in the state of West Bengal. The JEXPO-2015 examination was held on April 12, 2015  in 188 examination centres throughout West Bengal and 1 centre in Tripura. Approximately, 91315 candidates appeared for the exam.  West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is part of the Chief Inspectorate of Technical Education and thereafter, associated with the Directorate of Technical Education. AICTE started as an Advisory Body of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. By an Act of Parliament, AICTE was made a Statutory Body in 1987. The Statutory Council advised all States to give autonomous status to the State Councils of Technical Education. On the basis of aforesaid guideline, Government set-up a committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. Sankar Sen, the then Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University to chalk-out the procedure for setting-up of a Statutory Council for the Technical Education at diploma level.
