Made for Rs 80–90 crore, the movie 120 Bahadur seems to be failing to recover its budget. The film has a long way to go to recover its costs. Given the current pace, the situation seems grim for the movie.

Released on November 21, the war drama revisits the Battle of Rezang La, one of the defining moments of the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The film is led by Farhan Akhtar, whose performance remains compelling from start to finish.

Coming to 120 Bahadur’s day 1 box office collection, the film saw a single-digit opening of Rs 2.25 crore, while 120 Bahadur picked up momentum on day 2 with a collection of Rs 4 crore.

About 120 Bahadur

Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War, 120 Bahadur is a well-crafted film that, unfortunately, doesn’t fully capitalize on some of its strongest elements. Its historical setting doesn’t connect with audiences as deeply as stories centered on the Indo-Pak conflict often do. And while the film genuinely honours courage and sacrifice, its limited contemporary relevance and modest mass appeal appear to have impacted its box office performance.
