As you all know that Rajinikanth is worshipped down South, hence, you will not be surprised to know that fans turned up to watch the 4 am show in Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai. 2.0 is currently the talk of the town and Twitter is flooded with its reviews. Academy award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, who has also worked on 2.0 made it to the 4 am show and shared few pictures of the scene outside the theatre after watching the film and wrote on Twitter “Just out of the first show of #2Point0 madness, stampede… stupendous response to @shankarshanmugh superstar @rajinikanth and @arrahman and yours moi… the film is on its way to a super duper hit!”. Film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh straight away declared 2.0 a “BLOCKBUSTER.” Actor Dhanush even shared his reviews on the film and said that it is “on par with any Hollywood film.” In fact, fans on Twitter are calling this day a festival. The film has also been trending on Twitter with the hashtags #2point0FDFS, #2Point0FromToday and #2Point0Review. There were a few audiences who had mixed reviews on the film and thought that it could have been better. Some even compared it with Enthiran and considered that to be better than 2.0. While in the previous part, Chitti’s love interest was played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, this time Chitti will be seen romancing Amy Jackson. The movie, which is said to be the most expensive Indian film made to date with an estimated budget of Rs 543 crore (USD 76 million), is believed to have already beaten the record of 2017 blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
