Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots was one of the classic and iconic movies that blew the box office when it was released in 2009. Ever since the film was released, fans have been eagerly waiting for the makers to announce a sequel. While it was no secret that the movie would return with a sequel, the question remained when. However, it now seems that the audience will soon get an answer, as although the timeline of the film has not been revealed, reports claim that the film will be titled 4 Idiots, which means there will be an addition of an actor.

3 Idiots Cast and New Addition

Earlier, the cast of 3 Idiots included Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. All these actors are expected to reprise their characters from the 2009 film. However, there will be an addition to the cast. While the name remains unknown, fans have several guesses.

“The script is currently being developed under a tentative working title, 4 Idiots. While this title is still subject to change, the makers are looking for a superstar to expand the iconic franchise beyond its original trio. The makers are actively searching for a fourth idiot, which could be a superstar name,” a source cited by Pinkvilla claimed.

The insider also revealed that the scripting process of 4 Idiots has started and is currently underway. The insider added, “The team is making sure it gets bigger and better and continues from where it was left in the first part. Yet, this isn’t just a simple continuation but will also introduce new elements to justify the addition of a fourth core character.”
