Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma who is about to star in the action-thriller Ruslaan, frequently fields questions about his connection to Salman Khan. Sharma, married to Salman’s sister Arpita Khan, has a close personal relationship with the actor. In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the Ruslaan actor dismissed rumors of a rift between him and Salman Khan. Aayush Sharma said, “It is not like that, it is my house. No actor works with only one production house. Honestly, it is very funny, but my choices have been in a lot of discussions. There are many actors who have worked in their comfort zone, worked with a particular production house, then went out, then went back to the same production house. I wanted to step out, my intention is to go out there (sic).”
He continued adding, “I cannot keep working only in the family, in a closed set-up, because then my growth would also be stunted. It was a conscious decision to move out of the family for some time to work outside. It was important for me to grow, learn myself, evolve, and be worthy enough to be called back (sic).”

Aayush Sharma burst onto the Bollywood scene in his debut film, “Loveyatri,” a romantic drama opposite Warina Hussain. Salman Khan Films produced the movie. He later took on a challenging role in Salman Khan’s action-packed “Antim: The Final Truth,” directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. This Salman Khan Films production featured Aayush and Salman in a face-off, with Mahima Makwana, Mahesh Manjrekar, and a talented supporting cast rounding out the film. Aayush’s father is a BJP politician, Anil Sharma and the actor’s grandfather was a veteran Congress leader Pandit Sukh Ram.
