Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in the multi-starrer ‘Happy New Year’ is gearing up for his next big screen outing ‘Manmarziyan’. The actor, who is returning to face the camera after two years, has already started shooting for the film in Punjab with his co-actors Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Abhishek recently shared the first look of the film on Twitter, where the actor is seen sporting a turban with a stern expression on his face, making us wonder what would his role be in the film.
Well, today, the actor shares another picture, which is a collage of pictures of the three generations of his family – Amitabh Bachchan, Big B’ maternal grandfather, and himself. Going by the picture, Amitabh is seen dressed like Sikh men while Mr Bachchan’s grandfather Khazan Singh Suri, who is a born Sikh, is all suited up and the third picture is of Abhishek himself – the picture (first look) from his upcoming film ‘Manmarziyan’. Helmed by Anurag Kashyap and bankrolled by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions, Phantom Films and Eros Now, the film is an intense love story and stars Taapsee, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. This will be the first time that Taapsee will be sharing screen space with Abhishek and Vicky. The actors are currently in Punjab shooting for the film. Ever since they have commenced shooting in Punjab, they have been sharing the glimpses from the sets of Manmarziyan on social media. The recently leaked pictures have already gone viral.
