Actor John Vijay Accused of Harassment Again, Singer Chinmayi Sripada Shares Screenshots: ‘There Are Other Women Speaking…’

Numerous women have accused actor John Vijay of harassing them. Singer Chinmayi Sripada recently shared screenshots of the complaints made against him on her social media account.

Actor John Vijay, who is well-known for his roles in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films, was accused of harassing some women. A few days ago, a journalist wrote about her encounter with Tamil actor John Vijay and the advances he made to her while she waited for an interview. Many women have accused the actor of inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct. Singer and voice artist Chinmayi Sripada shared screenshots of some of the anonymous allegations she received on Friday, July 26.

John Vijay was accused of staring at women and making them feel uncomfortable at restaurants, bars, and workplaces in the complaints that Chinmayi uploaded. A journalist’s testimonial, which was included in the lawsuit, stated that John had touched the woman inappropriately. “After The Newsminute report about the Sexual Assault case of Malayalam cinema also mentioned John Vijay for his misdemeanour with the journalist. There are other women speaking about his behaviour in general (sic), ” read the caption alongside the screenshots.

John Vijay is not a stranger to these complaints. Numerous women made accusations against him during the #MeToo movement. The former radio host became a video host When Sriranjani confronted him about X (formerly known as Twitter), she revealed that he had contacted her late at night under the guise of discussing business.

In support of the #MeToo movement at the time, Chinmayi posted screenshots of several anonymous grievances. She mentioned that three ladies had complained to her, and she praised Sriranjani for sharing her testimony against John Vijay.

In an interview with Firstpost in 2018, John expressed regret for his actions, however, he has not yet addressed the most recent accusations. “Am a very transparent person who speaks my heart out. Not with any intentions or ulterior motives. I have understood that at times my jokes are not funny to everyone and may sound insensitive. When I really sense that some one does not appreciate what I say, is not on the same page and I am misunderstood, I remove myself from having further conversation or being present at that place (sic), ” Vijay said.

Regarding his career, John’s most recent appearances were in the Telugu movie Razakar—Silent Genocide of Hyderabad, the Malayalam film Thankamani, Tamil films Por and Bayamariya Brammai, and the Malayalam film Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire.
