Filmmaker Karan Johar just knows when to remain silent and keep his dignity intact. Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn created quite a stir a few days ago when he pulled attention to his movie Shivaay by posting a link to an audio tape on September 1, where he alleged that “self-proclaimed film critic” and ‘actor’ Kamaal R Khan (KRK) was revealing some shocking details about the industry. The tape had KRK’s voice where he confessed to producer Kumar Mangat Pathak (very good friend of Ajay Devgn) that filmmaker Karan Johar has paid KRK Rs 25 lakh to write good things about his upcoming movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Why would an acclaimed filmmaker like Karan Johar need KRK to say good things about his big star casr release like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil? But it seems Ajay Devgn wanted to believe KRK’s bragging about the bribe, as his own ambitious film Shivaay is releasing on the same day as Ae Dil Hai Mushkil – October 28, 2016.
Like we told you earlier, the box office war is already on, two months ahead and is dirtier this time. The last time Ajay Devgn was this bitter was when his film Son of Sardaar was releasing on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Ajay Devgn clashed with the producers Yash Raj Films, and also Shah Rukh Khan. This time the war is with Karan Johar. Ajay was never great friends with either the YRF clan or KJo, all of whom are from the same school of cinema. But his wife, actress Kajol, owes most of her success to both YRF and Karan Johar. So, it’s her relations which have been temporarily spoilt with her besties – Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and now Karan Johar. Kajol yet again decided to support her husband – and who wouldn’t – and reacted to the controversy involving KRK and KJo with a simple tweet saying, “Shocked”. After the Ajay Devgn tweet, KRK tweeted and the next day held a press conference to explain that he was just joking when he said Karan Johar paid him Rs 25 lakh and that it was, in fact, Ajay Devgn who offered him that amount through Kumar Mangat. Upon hearing this, Ajay Devgn demanded an investigation into the leaked audio tape and whether Karan Johar was indeed involved in it.

Karan Johar chose to remain silent through the entire idiotic controversy created by Ajay Devgn. He did not tweet or share anything with anybody, until he was asked at an event to comment on it. Here’s what Karan Johar said: “My self-respect, reputation, company reputation and my upbringing doesn’t allow me to dignify this question with a response.” KJo has shown what true class is about with these words!
