Ae Watan Mere Watan Twitter Review: Sara Ali Khan starrer Ae Watan Mere Watan has been released today, March 21, on Amazon Prime Video. Ae Watan Mere Watan is a historical biographical film about India’s struggle for freedom in 1942, on the life of Usha Mehta, a brave young girl who starts an underground radio station to spread the message of unity, setting off a thrilling chase with the British authorities during the Quit India movement. Written and directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar, Ae Watan Mere Watan features Sara Ali Khan, Anand Tiwari and Sachin Khedekar.
The reviews are out on social media and netizens are not happy with the performances. One of the users wrote, “Sara Ali Khan’s dialogue delivery is more painful to watch than India’s freedom struggle”, wrote a user.
One of the critics took to Twitter (X) to share that the actor should stop acting. “#AeWatanMereWatan Time for #SaraAliKhan to retire. She overacts and is nothing like #SaifAliKhan or #KareenaKapoorKhan. No positive reviews for her film and she looks like a 40-year-old aunty. We already have #DeepikaPadukone and #KatrinaKaif. We don’t need this ch**iya actress”.
The third user said, “#AeWatanMereWatanOnPrime is a film that is against anyay and atyachaar. But it’s very existence is a form of both of those things. When #SaraAliKhan went “Elaan karo”, my response was a desperate “Chup karo!”
A few section of people loved Ae Watan Mere Watan. “The film Ae Watan Mere Watan though set in 1942 is still relevant to our current times.
