Akshay Kumar’s Major Property Sale

Akshay Kumar is known for owning multiple properties in the city. Along with his wife Twinkle Khanna, the actor has invested in several premium locations in Mumbai. Recently, the couple sold one of their apartments in Skycity, Borivali East, for a remarkable Rs 4.25 crore. According to Square Yards, the transaction was registered earlier this month and involved a luxurious apartment that has a carpet area of 1,073 square feet. Additionally, the sale included two car parking spaces.

The transaction reportedly involved a payment of Rs 25.5 lakh as stamp duty, with registration charges amounting to Rs 30,000. Reportedly, this property was purchased by Akshay Kumar in 2017 for Rs 23.8 crore. The sale, therefore, marked an impressive 78% appreciation in value over the past few years.

The house features an all-white theme, creating a clean and fresh atmosphere, complemented by lots of green plants.

A significant amount of wooden work is visible throughout the property while maintaining a neat, clean, and minimalist aesthetic.

The living area is spacious, with plenty of seating options, including high chairs, cosy couches, dining tables and sofa sets.

While his real estate transactions have made headlines, Akshay Kumar is also keeping busy with his professional commitments. His latest film, Sky Force, is centred around India’s first airstrike during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war, specifically the Sargodha airbase attack in Pakistan. The film, directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, stars Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. The film was released on January 24, 2025.
