Bigg Boss 17 winner and comedian Munawar Faruqui in September was rushed to Mumbai from his Delhi event after he was chased by gangsters affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi. According to media reports, the comedian is on Bishnoi’s radar list after Faruqui passed on a remark on Hindu gods in one of his stand-up events.

After Munawar’s Delhi event, the comedian was rescued by the intelligence agency when they got the message of Faruqui under the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi. According to several media reports last month, Munawar Faruqui was set to host one of his events in Delhi for which he booked a flight from Mumbai. In the same flight, two right-hand men of Lawrence Bishnoi were set to chase Faruqui. The two henchmen had reportedly booked rooms in the same hotel while Munawar planned his stay in Delhi.

However, the question is how Munawar Faruqui ended up in gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list. Media reports suggest that Munawar reportedly mocked Hindu gods at one of his stand-up events, which later made him on Bishnoi’s radar. It is worth noting that Munawar on several occasions had made comments on Hindu deities which put him in massive trouble. His multiple shows were cancelled due to his comment on Hinduism.

Times Now reported that Munawar was brought back safely to Mumbai with the help of Mumbai Police. It also reported that after carrying out Munawar Faruqui’s murder, Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to show himself as a “Hindu underworld don.” The report further read that Munawar is still escorted with heavy security as he is still on the hitlist of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

After the murder of Baba Siddique agencies are on its feet to find out the henchmen associated with Lawrence Bishnoi. It is said that Baba Siddiue’s closeness with Salman Khan was the reason behind the politician’s murder.
