After Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor To Start Working On Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Director Luv Ranjan’s Next?

Ranbir Kapoor, who is always ready to explore roles in varied genres, is gearing up for one of the most anticipated films of 2018 – the biopic on the famous ‘troubled’ star Sanjay Dutt, titled Sanju. While Ranbir starrer Sanju is yet to hit the silver screens, the actor has already bagged another project. Yes, you read that right. The latest reports suggest that Ranbir is in talks for his next film with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Director Luv Ranjan, whose films have been box-office blockbusters.

In a statement to Mid-Day, a source close to the development revealed, “Both of them are keen to collaborate on a film. Ranjan bounced off the premise of his next to Ranbir, who expressed his interest in the project. It is a romantic comedy, along the lines of Ranjan’s previous comic capers. The script is being developed and if all goes as planned, RK will sign it in August. The film will roll right after he wraps up Brahmastra.”

Meanwhile, Director Luv Ranjan told the leading tabloid, “Ranbir and I have met many times. We are keen on working with each other, but nothing has been finalized. I have taken a break from direction and am currently concentrating on production. Soon, I will announce a couple of projects, only after which will I hit the writing board again. On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Sanju’. Recently, the makers of the Dutt biopic dropped the teaser, making the audience impatient for the film’s trailer. No doubt, the poster and teaser has intrigued and excited the audience; fans can’t stop gushing about Ranbir’s uncanny resemblance to Dutt in the teaser. Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in six different avatars Of Sanjay Dutt in the film. The actor is currently busy with the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
