Randeep Hooda has officially teamed up with Sunny Deol for the highly anticipated action drama Jaat, set to release on April 10, 2025. Helmed by Gopichand Malineni and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film promises high-octane action and a compelling storyline.

On Monday, Mythri Movie Makers showcased Hooda’s first look Ranatunga, hinting at an intense clash between him and Sunny Deol’s character. While sharing the striking poster on X, the makers wrote, “Evil has a new name – RANATUNGA. Here’s @RandeepHooda from the world of #JAAT. The stage is set for a ruthless face-off with the JAAT. GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON APRIL 10th. #BaisakhiWithJaat.”

Randeep Hooda’s most recent box office success was the 2018 action film Baaghi 2 in which he played a supporting tole. Prior to that, he appeared in Sultan (2016) and Kick (2014), both of which were blockbusters. In 2024, Hooda took on the lead role in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Despite his acclaimed performance, the film did not perform well at the box office, earning Rs 23.99 crore in India. In 2023, Hooda starred in the web series Inspector Avinash, which received positive reviews for his portrayal of lead role.

Coming back to Jaat, Fans are now awaiting to watch him in a powerpact role, alongside Sunny Deol. The film also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher and Swarupa Ghosh. Labelled as a “high-octane drama” with “larger-than-life action sequences,” Jaat is set for a theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
