After Khatron Ke Khiladi, Rohit Shetty To Team Up With Karan Johar To Judge A Show Of Aspiring Actors
BFFs Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani have been roped in to host the show
These days filmmaker Rohit Shetty seems to be on a different kind of high. After a successful wrap up of the eighth season of the daredevil reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi and his film, Golmaal Again touching new heights every day with its brilliant performance at the Box Office, the filmmaker is all set to team up with Karan Johar for a reality show. The two may not have collaborated for a film, but they will soon be seen judging a reality TV show (tentatively titled India’s Next Superstar) together for aspiring actors. The winners will reportedly be given a three film-deal with KJo’s production house, Dharma Productions, and a brilliant chance to be launched by the celebrated filmmaker.
Mumbai Mirror quoted a source close to the development as saying, “The two winners will be rewarded with a three-film deal with Karan’s production house. Auditions are on at the moment and around 30 contestants will be shortlisted for the show which goes on air early next year and will be telecast through the week.” Furthermore, the source added that the team is planning a different format for the weekdays and another for the weekend and the details of the same are in the planning process at the moment. And now we hear, that BFFs Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani are being roped in to host the show. The duo, who was last seen together in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, became good friends on the show and their bromance also became a talking point in the show. Even after that were often seen hanging out together, making fun videos for Instagram. The show is expected to have 12 boys and 12 girls as contestants, all living together under one roof. They will reportedly be given different tasks everyday and will also be rated on the basis of their performance.
