The much awaited Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja marriage took place yesterday and we are still reeling under the after effects of the big fat Punjabi wedding. What with pictures and videos from the wedding party flooding our timeline on social media. While the couple of the moment has been the centre of attention, the bride’s family members – cousin Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi and Arjun, guests and Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar and guests like Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt and party ki jaan Ranveer Singh have also become talk of the town.
But there is one more Kapoor who got a lot of attention on social media during Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. We are talking about the Sanju actress’ pretty cousin Shanaya Kapoor – daughter of Sanjay and Maheep. Her mother Maheep has been posting some really gorgeous pictures of her girl and people wonder why is she not making her Bollywood debut as yet? There are comments like – ‘someone launch her in Bollywood already please,’ ‘Shanaya looks Bollywood ready,’ ‘Karan Johar should sign her up for his next film’ and more.
And now, there are two new pictures of the star kid from inside Sonam – Anand’s wedding party held at The Leela, Mumbai on Tuesday night. She is posing with Ranveer Singh here and tweeps / Intagrammers can’t wait to see them together in a film. This jodi already has thumbs up from film enthusiasts.

Interestingly, it was Janhvi’s name that was doing the rounds for Simmba starring RS. But another star kid – Sara Ali Khan – got luckier. And now, if this love for this new jodi – Ranveer Singh and Shanaya Kapoor – reaches Bollywood filmmakers – we might just see the two work in a film and Shanaya make her Bollywood debut opposite the talented and successful actor.
