There is no answer when one question is thrown at Bigg Boss host Salman Khan – when are you planning to marry? He has always dogged this question. The actor, who is all set to turn 52 this December, has maintained a safe distance from marriage as he feels he is not husband material. While Bhai fans are eagerly waiting for good news, looks like Salman Bhai is giving in to the pressure. Yes, you heard it right. Wait! He is not up for marriage but he claims that he is more of a father type. But he does not want a mother to tag along with the child. We are quite aware of Salman’s love for children; have you not seen videos of Bhai playing with little sister Arpita Khan’s son Ahil? He certainly loves children and the actor has proved yet again by dropping hints that he might want to adopt the alternate route to parenthood. The actor, in a statement to an entertainment portal, opened up his wish to become a father. Reportedly, Salman Khan’s mother Salma Khan wants him to have a child, so, probably there are high chances that the actor might think about having a child (to fulfil his mother’s wish to see Salman as a father) through surrogacy in two to three years. Yes, after Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar became fathers via surrogacy, Salman too is keen on becoming a father in the same way. Though Salman does not feel that he is running out of time and should soon think of having a child, he feels that it may seem a little awkward if he delays too much as the actor is already in his 50s and if Salman will be in his 70s and his child is still in his 20s, it may be a little awkward. Earlier the actor was sceptical about adopting the alternate route to parenthood. He, in a statement to Times Of India, had said, “I do want to have a child, but with child, the mother comes. And when the mother comes, big complications happen as I am not the husband material. I am the father type. It will be unfair for anyone to think that I will change him. I will not change. I sometimes feel surrogate type ka ho jaye, but then look how close we are to our mothers so when the kid grows up he or she will ask maa kaun? They will then think that my father for his own selfish reasons has kept us without a mother. And then my parents too would like to see my children. So it’s all very complex.” Well, you never know when Salman Bhai will surprise you with a child.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ alongside Katrina Kaif. This film, which is a sequel to his film Ek Tha Tiger, is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to hit the silver screens on December 21, 2017. The actor will also be seen in Race 3 alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, which is slated to release on Eid 2018. Salman Khan’s much awaited Bigg Boss 11 also will air on Colors from October 1.
