After Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi, Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra's upcoming movie Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has been postponed because of Coronavirus outbreak.

After Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi, the release date of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra‘s upcoming movie Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has also been postponed due to the Coronavirus scare. Ever since the deadly coronavirus, which has killed more than 4,700 people around the world, has been declared as a pandemic, everyone is taking preventive measures to stop the virus from spreading any further. In the wake of Coronavirus in India, Bollywood celebs have decided to delay the release of their movies for everyone’s safety. Therefore, movies like Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and now Arjun Kapoor’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has been postponed and will not be releasing anytime soon.

Arjun Kapoor-starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, which was slated to release on March 20, will not be releasing this month. Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram and announced that the film has been postponed.

“Given the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country, we have decided to postpone the release of Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The health and safety of everyone is of utmost importance at this time,” wrote Arjun Kapoor.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, is a dark comedy which has been helmed by Dibakar Banerjee. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Archana Puran Singh in supporting roles.

The film has been backed by Dibakar Banerjee and co-written by Varun Grover.

Apart from Sooryavanshi and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Mohanlal’s Marakkar Lion of the Arabian Sea has also been postponed due to the Coronavirus threat. By far, more than 80 cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in India and two people have died.
