Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour over two months ago, recently took to his micro-blogging site to share the poster of his upcoming film Karwaan, which also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar and Kriti Kharbanda in pivotal roles. Alongside the poster, Irrfan wrote, “Beginnings have the innocence that experience can’t buy. My best wishes to @dulQuer , @mipalkar for joining the karwaan. ‘ Two karwaans ‘ …. Mine and the movie !! @MrAkvarious @RSVPMovies @RonnieScrewvala” His co-star Dulquer was quick to reply to Irrfan’s tweet. He thanked the ace actor for his post and wished him a speedy recovery. Interestingly, Karwaan marks the Bollywood debut of South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan, who has acted in Tamil (OK Kanmani), Malayalam (Charlie) and recently the Telugu film Mahanati, while Girl in the City and Little Things fame actress Mithila Palkar will also make her first ever Bollywood outing as a lead actress. Not just actors but Karwaan also marks the debut of Akarsh Khurana as a Bollywood director. Helmed by Akarsh Khurana and bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala, the film revolves around a road trip, suggests the poster of the film. The poster also carries the tagline, which reads, “3 Lost Souls…2 Dead Bodies…A Journey of a Lifetime.” Looks like, the film is about the lives of three people from different walks of life, who bump into each other and set off on a bizarre journey, trying to discover the normalcy in their lives.
