Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are touted to come together, real soon. Yeah this is an old news but here is a new development. We had earlier reported that Abhi-Ash will play a romantic lead for Anurag Kashyap’s Gulaab Jamun which was touted to be a romantic comedy, very different from what Anurag is famous for. Well, there was no update about the movie. In the meantime, Ash’s dad Krishnaraj Rai passed away so understandably, the actress did not talk shop for a bit. Now, buzz is that the star couple is approached again but by their mentor and close friend Mani Ratnam.
This iconic south film director has been interested in casting his dream couple again for a movie and we are not surprised because they have looked the best in Mani Sir’s movies. Also, he brings out the best in them. According to an entertainment website, Mani Ratnam plans to finish off his pending Tamil projects before entering Bollywood again with an Abhi-Ash vehicle. Now, who’s excited for this? For those who don’t know Aishwarya made her movie debut with Mani’s Iruvar in Tamil. Abhishek gave an award winning performance with Yuva. Both of them were seen last in Raavana directed by the same filmmaker.
