Aishwarya made her Instagram debut on Friday and everyone expected the internet to break. But… nothing legendary happened. The actress had 172K followers by Saturday morning, despite a heart melting post as her first Instagram picture.
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan followed Aamir Khan’s Insta strategy, where he posts pictures in collages and one has to go to the account directly to see the full picture. While Aamir had started out by posting his Ammi’s (mother) as his first, Ash posted a click of baby Aaradhya and herself, captioning it, “And I was born again” taking us back to the time when she became a mother. However, Ash didn’t get a lot of love on Insta as yet.
Now, reports suggest that the Fanne Khan actress is upset with the disappointing reaction to her Instagram debut and has blasted her team for this dismal performance and buzz around the same. A source close to the actress told Pinkvilla, “Aishwarya is upset with the way her social media debut happened. This is not what she expected. In 6 hours her profile has not even crossed 20,000 followers, which is very unlikely, given her popularity. She is also upset that there is no blue tick on her profile, making people wonder about the authenticity of the profile.”
Well, the team’s still got the chance. The beauty queen is all set to walk the red carpet at Cannes 2018 and this is their opportunity to make her Instagram gain attention and followers by sharing some candid, stylish, unseen pictures of the actress.
