Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an epitome of beauty, grace and intelligence. Known for always being articulate and poised, the actress was once put in a tough spot when she was asked who she thinks is the most beautiful woman in the world. Well, handling it all well, the actor refused to take her own name and revealed her daughter’s name Aaradhya Bachchan.

In an old interview that went viral on social media, Aishwarya was asked a question by her Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star Anushka Sharma. She asked Aishwarya to name the world’s most beautiful women, but with a twist. Anushka told her that she can’t take her mother Brindya Rai’s name.

Gracefully responding to the video question of Anushka, Aishwarya took her daughter Aaradhya’s name and said, “Hi Anushka, very tricky because you have taken my mother out of the equation, but you cannot take a mother out of me. So, I would like to say that beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder and this beholder can’t but help seeing beauty nowadays in the face and in the eyes that I completely gaze into all time and I am unabashedly, obsessively in love with my daughter. So for me, at this point in time, Aaradhya. It’s all Aaradhya for sure.”

Aishwarya Rai’s immense love and devotion for her daughter is well known. Aaradhya often accompanies her mother to the big events, including the Anant Ambani- Radhika Merchant pre-wedding celebrations and the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. They continue to serve mother-daughter goals at every occasion with their stunning appearances.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan got married in 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in the critically acclaimed film Ponniyin Selvan (2022).
