Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Fanne Khan Gets A Release Date, To Now Clash With Karwaan On August 3

It's going to be Fanney Khan vs Karwaan at the BO on August 3 this year

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen reuniting with Anil Kapoor after almost 17 years in Fanne Khan. The film has seen quite a few date changes till now. It is one of the most anticipated films of the year. First it was said that the film will release in April, then it was pushed to Eid and clash with  Salman Khan’s Race 3. We were really looking forward to it as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan would be battling out at the Box Office. The film, however, got pushed to July 13 and now it has further been postponed to August 3. Yes, the film will now release on August 3 this year and clash with Irrfan Khan-Dulquer Salmaan and Milthila Palkar’s Karwaan at the BO.

Just earlier today it was revealed that the makers of Karwaan decided to pre-pone the film from its scheduled date of August 10, to August 3 to enjoy a clear two-week solo run at the box office. The film is South heartthrob, Dulquer Salmaan, and internet sensation, Mithila Palkar’s, debut Bollywood film. It also stars Irrfan Khan who is currently undergoing treatment in London. Well, little did the makers know then that Fanne Khan would be pushing its release date to the same day and that they would be clashing with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the BO. Wonder what the makers have to say now. Meanwhile, senior film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, took to Twitter to make both the announcements.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is playing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband in the film. The talented actor who is starring opposite Aishwarya for the first time ever was very nervous to play his part in the film. When he was asked about his chemistry with the diva, he had said, “It is H2SO4 types. There is a love angle between us and I am looking forward to it. I am little nervous to romance the most beautiful lady of the world.” It must be truly very difficult to romance a woman who has been looking upto for so long.
