After the massive success of Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again, the superstar is set to dabble in another comedy franchise. And with the one that is up next on his list, Devgn will be seen replacing Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. Yes, the much talked about film Total Dhamaal will finally be going on floors tomorrow after it got a release date. The film has locked the release date of December 7, which reminds us of another film that releases on the same day, which is the Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Namastey England.
Ajay Devgn’s film was earlier told to be releasing sometime around Diwali 2018, seeing it clash with Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan. However, as it seems the makers went for an easier clash in Namastey England. Ajay tweeted: “Kal se karenge ‘Total Dhamaal’! (From tomorrow we’d do ‘Total Dhamaal’).”A tweet from the official page of Fox Star Hindi, who will be presenting the film, read: “Presenting more laughter and more madness. ‘Total Dhamaal’ is our latest collaboration with Ajay Devgn Films to give you your next dose of rib-tickling comedy. Total Dhamaal will boast of an ensemble cast of Riteish Deshmukh, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi along with Ajay Devgn. Golmaal Again, which also starred an ensemble cast, worked wonders at the box office, which does not bode well for Namastey England, with relatively lower star power in their line up.
