Akshay Kumar Confirms Hera Pheri 3 To Release in 2025, Check Deets

In a recent interview, Akshay Kumar discussed Hera Pheri 4, Housefull 5, and Welcome 3. Additionally, the actor revealed his upcoming project, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, in which he will star alongside Tiger Shroff.

Akshay Kumar is set to come back with a bang! The actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming release Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The highly-anticipated film will hit the big screens on April 10, 2024. Meanwhile, amid the anticipation and excitement of BMCM’s release, Akshay was seen on a video podcast with YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia. During the interview, Akshay opened up about his love for doing comedy movies. He also dropped a hint of doing Hera Pheri 3. 

Speaking to Ranveer, Akshay talked about the scarcity of comedy films in Bollywood. The actor said that in next year there will be a bunch of comedy films which will hit the big screens, and among those three movies will feature the actor. Akshay said, “Abhi aa jayega. Yeh saal, agle saal tak kaafi comedy films aa jayengi. Do-teen toh main hi kar raha hoon.” When asked about his projects, Akshay said, “Main kar raha hoon. Welcome kar raha hoon, Housefull kar raha hoon, phir shayad Heri Pheri bhi karoonga.”

In that same interview, Akshay also addressed how individuals often find offence in the jokes presented in comedy films. The actor said, “Arre mazaak nahi uda raha hoon. I’m just doing a part. I’m just playing a character.”

Akshay Kumar’s Work Front 

Coming to Akshay Kumar’s work front, the actor will feature in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action-thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Apart from Akshay, the movie will also feature Tiger Shroff in the lead role with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. The movie will also star Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar in key roles with a special appearance of Sonakshi Sinha.

Meanwhile, prior to the premiere of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a report indicated that the film wouldn’t have a traditional full release on April 10. Instead, it is scheduled to have paid previews on the same day, with screenings starting from 6:00 pm onwards.
