Akshay Kumar‘s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is set to release on August 11, 2017, but the actor won’t be promoting it as he will be in London shooting for Reema Kagti’s Gold. In fact, he left the country couple of weeks back as and took off to Europe with his family for a vacation. We can’t help but point out the fact that there was a time when Akshay used to deliberately leave the country just before the release of his film. Why? That’s because the actor felt his films worked better when he was travelling. However, that changed a few years ago. So it might be a mere co-incidence this time. Also Read - Soorarai Pottru Hindi Remake: Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan Being Considered For Role of Maara?

Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Sunny Kaushal, who will also feature in the film are already in London, whereas Akshay will join them in the first week of July. According to a report in DNA, Twinkle Khanna, Aarav and Nitaara will stay with him, while he goes to work everyday. All of them will return to the city together by the end of July. Talking more about Gold, it is set in 1948, and is about the first gold medal India won in Olympic in hockey as a free country. Since Akshay, Amit, Kunal and Sunny are playing hockey players in the film, they are being trained by different hockey coaches, especially, by former Indian captain, Sandeep Singh to improve their hockey skills. “Sandeep Singh trained the actors for a few months before they flew off for the international schedule. The Arjuna awardee who took over as captain of the Indian national team in January 2009, was roped in to ensure that the actors looked like authentic hockey players on the field. In Bradford, the team is also holding auditions at the city centre for local actors to portray international hockey players of the rival team. An international coach has been hired to train them there,” a source was quoted by Mumbai Mirror.
