Akshay Kumar Meets Salman Khan But They Don’t Discuss The Laxmmi Bomb vs Radhe Box Office Clash, Read on
Akshay Kumar comments on the hype around the Laxmmi Bomb vs Radhe Box Office clash this Eid. He reveals he met Salman Khan and they chatted for long but never discussed the clash.
It’s work round the clock for actor Akshay Kumar who lives on a strict schedule that begins around 4 am and ends around 10 pm. It’s because of this fixed schedule that the actor is able to churn out as many as four films every year – constantly hopping across genres and delivering anticipated films back-to-back. After ending last year on a high note with Good Newwz, he is now gearing up for the release of Sooryavanshi which is one of the big films this year and is the fourth addition in Rohit Shetty‘s cop-universe. After this, Akshay will prepare for his Eid release – Laxmmi Bomb, in which he plays the role of a man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender. The film is facing a Box Office clash with Salman Khan‘s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and this has added more excitement among the audience.
Akshay, however, says he is calm and not thinking about any clash. In his latest interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actor commented on the entire hype around Laxmmi Bomb vs Radhe-clash at the Box Office during Eid 2020. Akshay said it’s all an artificial hype because neither he nor his good friend Salman seems worried about the clash. The Khiladi of Bollywood mentioned that both he and Salman were recently shooting at the Mehboob Studio where they also chatted for a while but no discussion about the ‘big’ clash came up as it seems frivolous.
The actor said the country has enough screens to accommodate both the films and the festive release is only going to give a good push to both the films. Akshay was quoted saying, “It is all hype, nothing more. I was shooting at Mehboob Studio and Salman was there too. We sat and chatted for a long time, but didn’t even discuss the clash. It is a festive period. Two films can easily be divided between 6000 screens. There have been clashes in the past; I don’t see a problem here.”
Both Laxmmi Bomb and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai hit the screens on May 22. The two stars enjoy a terrific fan following among the masses and it would be interesting to see how both the films fare at the Box Office on Eid this year. Which film are you rooting for?
