Disney Pixar's Coco is touted to be this year's animated film entry to the Oscars

We always see our favourite stars on screen, but most often than not we fail to realise that they have a personal side to them. Perhaps that’s why it’s always heartening to see them spend time with their family. So, imagine our happiness when we see Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Hrithik Roshan take some time off their busy schedule to take their kids to watch Disney Pixar’s newly released Oscar offering Coco. The film has been garnering phenomenal reviews worldwide, with most reviewers in the country even calling it the best film of the year. It is also touted to be the next Oscar hopeful from the Disney Pixar tribe which went on to win Academy Award-winning films.

Pictures of the celebs with the kids have been trending all over the internet. They seem to be mighty happy with the film as they were spotted beaming ear to ear as they stepped out of the theatres. Last year, Inside Out and Finding Dory, were successful Disney Pixar films, and seems like Coco will be this year’s best culturally-diverse human family drama yet. The movie is based on the life of a 12-year-old aspiring guitarist named Miguel (Gonzalez) from a rural Mexican town, who is not allowed to pursue music by his family pf shoemakers. In a strange turn of events, Miguel is transported to the Land of the Dead  in Día de los Muertos, where his aim is to try to recover his family heritage and come back home with the assistance of prankster skeleton Hector (Bernal). They indeed seem to have had a good time watching the film. Meanwhile, it’s surprising that Twinkle and Akshay allowed Nitara’s pics to be clicked as they have always maintained that they she is too young to be subjected to the media’s glare. Twinkle is often seeing covering her face whenever they have a family outing and the shutterbugs are present to take their snaps. In an earlier interview with a leading daily, Twinkle was quoted as saying, “I think she (Nitara) is very young and she should get her privacy. I don’t really put up pictures of my son Aarav. I think that they are growing and if they come out with me for a movie or something and then if someone clicks pictures then I am ok. As parents, we try to keep them away from the limelight until they understand the consequences and learn to handle themselves.”
