Mumbai: Prithviraj Sukumaran heaps praise on his co-star from Bade Miyan Chote Miyan – Akshay Kumar. The actor who turns villain for the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial talks about Akshy’s strict lifestyle and how he is as a father. The actor was speaking to an entertainment portal recently when he mentioned that he likes the fact that Akshay is a family man. He added that everything about his working schedule to how he treats his son – inspires him as an actor and as a human being.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Prithviraj said he isn’t sure if he can speak in length about Akshay’s personal life but from what he has seen, he likes his lifestyle and his professionalism on the sets. “He is very inspirational as an actor because of how much he gives to the craft, and how professional he is. Akshay is a superstar but when you look at him, you will realise how much this means to him.”
The actor’s fans are aware of his strict sleeping schedule and how he invests time in his health. The Salaar actor also highlighted the same and said, “He (Akshay) is still up at 4 am and he is so strict with his diet, his lifestyle, he is on set early morning, and you’ll never see Akshay sir tired. When he is called for a shot, you’ll never see him tired, he is very inspirational that way.”
The actor recalled his time shooting with him and how Akshay would treat his son, Aarav, during his visits to the sets of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He appreciated the way he was with his family. Prithviraj said, “I got to know the man a bit as a father because Aarav (Akshay’s son) had come on sets and hung out with us for a while when we were in Glasgow. The way he is with his family or with his son, I don’t know if I’m allowed to give out information about Akshay sir, but he is one of the those guys if you know him better, you will tend to like him.”
This is the first time Prithviraj and Akshay are working on a film. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most sought-after action comedies of the year. It also features Tiger Shroff performing some scintillating action scenes alongside Akshay. Not much about Prithviraj’s villainous character has been revealed so far. However, the trailer is expected to give a big glimpse into his character as well as into the story. BMCM, produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, is slated to hit the screens as the big Eid release this year. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in important roles.
