Proud about the feat as a producer, Twinkle Khanna expressed during her speech that she wants the film Padman to be more than a movie but to become a movement. She also hoped that before promising Ipads in schools, we ensured that every girl was aware and had the resource to get an sanitary pad. Where commercials would stop showing blue liquid on pads instead of red. Twinkle’s speech was inspiring and talks about the change that societies, globally, urgently need. Let’s hope that when Padman releases on February 9, it is able to bring out some of that change.
