‘Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are dating each other!’ There have been so many pictures all over the media to prove the same and so many reports insinuating this is a fact that it is hard to not believe it. Alia herself had a tough time dealing with these reports and questions each time she interacts with the media. So when she stepped out to promote her recently released film Raazi, the talented actress knew there will be questions about her personal equation with Brahmastra co-star Ranbir. And when that happened, she had a reply ready.

At once such instance, when asked about her relationship status with Ranbir, Alia quipped, “You are absolutely right, we are more than friends… We are co-actors.We are working together in a beautiful film called ‘Brahmastra‘ which will release next year,” she said disappointing most but leaving everyone with a smile over that cute answer. She was also on App Ki Adalat the past weekend where she was asked a similar question and she handled it quite cutely. While she didn’t say a yes or a no, she certainly didn’t feel embarrassed or awkward about it.

But being this cool about relationship questions hasn’t been this easy. There were times when Alia got irritated with how some journalist wrote an entire timeline of her relationship with someone.

Thanks to her father Mahesh Bhatt, who came to her rescue and helped her deal with these love affair rumours in a better way. Talking to a leading tabloid, Alia said, “My dad told me that if someone called him bald, he shouldn’t feel bad about it, because, he is bald and that is the truth. Similarly, he said, if somebody called me bald then I shouldn’t take it to heart either, because it’s not true. I mean to say that if somebody is telling the truth or lies about you, then you should not feel bad (about that).” Wow! Now, that’s a life lesson we all could use. Right?
