Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma recently made their woman crush for each other public when they took to the stage together at the International Customs Day event held in Mumbai. They danced together to the song Envaain Envaain from Anushka’s film Band Baaja Baarat and regaled the audience. But the highlight of their gig was when Alia took the mike, got all romantic and crooned the title song of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to thunderous applause and whistles.

Alia said, “Congratulations Anushka for getting married. Also, I couldn’t be at Anushka’s wedding since I was traveling but this is my gift to you.” While she was about to sing, the newly married actress suggested that she sing something romantic and thus the choice of song. The two actresses certainly took womance to another level. For the uninitiated Womance is the female version of BROMANCE where two women who have a strictly Platonic relationship which is full of care and affection. Both Alia and Anushka looked gorgeous in their traditional avatars in Anita Dongre ensembles. On the work front while Alia has started shooting for Gully Boy and prepping for Brahmastra, Anushka has started shooting for Sui Dhaaga- Made In India. She will also soon start promoting her March 2 release Pari, which promises to present her in a never seen before avatar.
