Mahesh Bhatt’s little girl, Alia Bhatt, has come a long way since her debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. She has done a variety of films since then and has proved her acting prowess with each venture. Now the Highway actress is all set to take up a new challenge for her next film, Udta Punjab. This is not the first time an actor is taking time from their schedule to learn a game for a film. The King Khan himself was seen taking hockey lessons for for Chak De! India. Besides, young actors have also left no stones unturned to get their role right for a film. Arjun Kapoor learnt Kabaddi for Tevar, Priyanka Chopra turned boxer for Mary Kom, Sonakshi Sinha learnt boxing for Holiday and Parineeti Chopra started playing golf for Kill Dil. As per a leading daily, Alia is currently busy taking hockey lessons to get her role right for the film. The 2 States girl is so determined that she takes out two hours from her busy schedule daily for the training. Besides, to avoid being hoarded by fans and media, Alia has chosen 7- 9 am slot for her hockey training. Alia even posted a pic with her hockey stick on her Instagram account with a caption ‘My new friend’. Udta Punjab also stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in pivotal roles.
