Alia Bhatt is one of the most versatile actresses that Bollywood has to offer. This is perhaps why she has a varied range of films in her kitty at the moment — Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy‘, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra‘, and Abhishek Varman’s ‘Shiddat‘. She is also expected to do Sadak sequel with her father. Latest reports suggest that she has recently been approached by Ashiwiny Iyer Tiwary to do a woman centric film and in spite of having her schedule packed, we hear, she may just say yes to doing the film. Also Read - Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor's Wedding Postponed Yet Again By Over An Year, Here's Why

The filmmaker is reportedly planning on making this film over the last two years. As per the source, Ashwiny’s husband, Nitesh has written the script, adding “Ashwiny met Ashwini (Yardi) for this project right after her debut directorial Nil Battey Sannata released. The two decided to collaborate on the film, which will be co-produced by Yardi and Phantom. However, this film will not go on floors instantly as the actress has four films to finish at the moment and the filmmaker too is busy scripting a film on kabaddi, the source added. The actress is really looking forward to doing the film as she always likes to do films that are —a)  meant to be commercial successes and those b) that are content driven. This woman-centric film falls in the second category and as per reports in DNA the film is expected to go on floors next year. Also Read - ‘Flashes Of Time’!
