Amid divorce rumours, all eyes have been on YouTuber Gaurav Taneja and his wife Ritu Rathee after their post hinting at a possible separation went viral. A few days ago, Ritu mentioned that divorce might be on the cards, but Gaurav quickly slammed these rumours. While he appeared to acknowledge the challenges in their marriage in a social media post, it seems the couple has worked through their differences and reunited. On Karwa Chauth, Gaurav and Ritu observed the traditional Hindu fast together. In a recent Instagram reel, Gaurav revealed how he surprised Ritu by making halwa and waited for her to return from duty. She broke her fast and touched Gaurav’s feet for blessings.

A day before Karwa Chauth, Gaurav shared a picture of Ritu and their daughters, showcasing the mehendi on their hands. Later, he posted a video of Ritu getting beautiful mehendi designs at a local shop. In the video, Gaurav confirmed Ritu’s participation in the Karwa Chauth celebrations, humorously adding, ‘Find your name in your partner’s mehendi… #KarwaChauth #FlyingBeast’ in the caption.

A section of people on the social media slammed the couple and called it a ‘PR stunt’. Gaurav addressed the ongoing discussions on social media about his marriage. Alongside a happy selfie with Ritu Rathee, he wrote, “To everyone reading this, your parents have likely faced tough times in their marriage, and they might not have even disclosed it to you or the immediate family. The message is clear: if your parents didn’t involve you in their relationship matters, then why should we? Every sensible person would understand this.”
