Amid Palash Muchhal’s cheating controversy, Mary D’Costa, woman involved with singer, issues clarification: ‘I am not…’

Mary D’Costa took to Instagram and clarified that she is not choreographer, people are assuming her to be.

The internet is buzzing with news of Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding being postponed. The duo were set to tie the knot on November 23, 2025. However, their wedding was abruptly halted after Mandhana’s  father suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. Soon after the news of their wedding’s postponement broke, several other speculations started floating on the internet, and one among them was that Palash cheated on Smriti with the choreographer and hence the cricket player walked out of the wedding. Another rumour that emerged amid the row was one concerning Mary D’Costa, who was believed to have caused the delay in the couple’s wedding.

Palash Muchhal’s Viral Chat

A bunch of screenshots went viral on the internet between Palash and Mary, leading to speculations. The alleged flirty chat screenshots, reportedly posted by D’Costa on Reddit, soon went viral across social platforms. D’Costa has now clarified on Instagram that she never met Palash Muchhal and that their communication lasted merely a month.

She also denied that she is the choreographer and shared an explanatory note which read, “First, the exchange of chats happened between April 29th and May 30th, 2025, so the contact lasted for only one month. I want to make it absolutely clear that I never met him and I never got involved with him in any way. People have been asking, ‘Why speak about this now?’ The truth is, I actually exposed him back in July, but no one really knew who he was at that time, so it went unnoticed.”

“There’s also been a lot of confusion about who I am. I want to clarify, I am not the choreographer, and I am not the person he cheated with. I’m saying this because things are getting mixed up, and I don’t want people assuming the wrong things,” D’Costa’s post added.

Amid the wedding being on hold, Smriti has deleted all the posts from her Instagram, raising more speculations.
