She said, “I am ready for marriage. I am looking for a capable man. Where there is a will, there is a way. The person who finds me and surprises me at the right moment will be my favourite.”

Amisha added, “Even today, I get proposals from very affluent families. People half my age ask me out, and I am open to it because a man should be mentally mature. I have met many older men whose IQ is practically zero.”

Why did Amisha say no to marriage earlier?

The actress revealed that earlier proposals were rejected because suitors expected her to quit acting and stay at home after marriage, which she could never accept.

Amisha shared, “Those who love you will let your career flourish. I have lost a lot in my career and also in love. I have let go of both at times, and I feel I have learned from both experiences.”

She opened up about a serious past relationship that predated her Bollywood entry. “He was from a very prominent South Bombay industrialist family. Background, education, family setup, everything checked the boxes. But when I decided to pursue films, my partner didn’t approve. I chose my career over love,” she confessed.

After a brief hiatus, Amisha made a strong comeback with Gadar 2 in 2023, starring alongside Sunny Deol. The film became a massive hit, raking in Rs 686 crore globally at the box office.
