Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away on March 18 morning after suffering from prolonged illness. Aishwarya’s father had been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for quite some days. However, his health showed no improvement and deteriorated day by day. He had to be shifted to the ICU and put on life support system. His condition has been critical ever since. The actress’ father had undergone a cancer treatment in the past it was being speculated that a possible recurrence must have caused his condition to deteriorate. arlier in January too, Mr. Rai had been admitted to the hospital as his health had declined. The actor’s father was supposed to be discharged after a two weeks’ stay but his health showed no signs of improvement.

Aishwarya had been inconsolable ever since her father’s condition had worsened. She had been spending sleepless nights and worrying about her father’s conditions for a long time. Hubby Abhishek had been there to support her throughout. But despite all efforts, her father left for heavenly abode this morning. Ever since the news of her father’s death had broken out, several celebrities have been spotted visiting her house and many faces from the industry have been spotted on their way to her father’s funeral, including Shah Rukh Khan, father in law Amitabh Bachchan, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Randhir Kapoor and many others.
