Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan,is currently in Hyderabad to shoot for his cameo in Chiranjeevi‘s Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy. He took to his blog and and social media accounts to share new pictures of himself from the sets of the film. In the pics, Amitabh has a long and flowy white beard, and white and hair. He is seen dressed in red and completed the look by pairing it with a red vermillion mark on his forehead. By the look of it, Amitabh seems to be playing a learned and spiritual old man. We still don’t know anything about his role yet. South star Chiranjeevi essays the role of a freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Andhra Pradesh, who gave the Britishers a tough fight. Even Chiranjeevi is sporting a thick beard and a twirled moustache in the period drama that narrates the epic story of Kurnool-based freedom fighter. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan shared ore pics on his blog and wrote, “…in the silence of time .. there comes a time when what needs to be heard remains silent .. it is the indicator that the path be right and honest .. no resentments , no declarations of pious manifestations, no agenda to fulfil, no impressions to deliver .. just .. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy marks the 151st project of Chiranjeevi as an actor. He was last seen in Khaidi No 150 that was his comeback film after a decade long gap. The movie was the official remake of Kaththi. It struck gold at the box office and helped it gross over Rs 100 crore globally. The film is reported to have a trilingual release —in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore and also features Jagapati Babu, Kiccha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan and is directed by Surender Reddy. The film also stars Nayanthara in the lead role.
