On the professional front, Amyra was last seen in JudgeMentall Hai Kya alongside Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. In an interview earlier, Amyra shared her experience and said, “It’s an absolute privilege for me to share screen time with such amazing and fine actors like Kangana ma’am and Raj sir. Kangana ma’am is someone who has and still inspires me, so being able to act with her, even more, feels amazing.”

Talking about her upcoming web series, Dongri To Dubai is reportedly adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Dongri to Dubai: Six Decades of the Mumbai Mafia. Helmed by Shujaat Saudagar of Rock On 2 fame, the first season will feature 10 episodes and will revolve around the notorious underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. It will be capturing his early life, his gang and the big mob bosses at the time.

In an interview with PTI, Amyra elaborated, “This show is adapted from a gripping book which I’ve read and loved. The power-crazed gangsters and the world of crime is what interested me the most. It’s set in the 70s and 80s so you get to see a different side to Mumbai, the birth of Mumbai in a way. I have never done a period project and the fact that we get to go back in time with this one was magic to my ears. The fact the Excel Entertainment is producing it was the cherry on the cake.
