At the end of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, the third-place finalist, Ranvir Shorey, harkened back to his tough journey throughout the show. Renowned Bollywood star, Anil Kapoor, hosted the season, which concluded with TV actress Sana Makbul bagging the first spot while the rapper Naezy trailblasing to a close second.

In a laid-back tone, he acknowledged his decent progress on the show by saying, “Five ke baad three tak aagaya, bahut hai. (Well, I climbed up from being fifth to now being third, so not too shabby, huh?)”

Shorey went on to discuss the nature of the competition stating, “The one who receives Bigg Boss’s favour and gets more votes wins – that’s how life is (sic).” Shorey admits to encountering some tough challenges in his journey through Bigg Boss OTT 3. He said, “Staying away from family for 42 days and living with 15 strangers away from the outside world was very challenging (sic).”

Shorey described his journey in Bigg Boss OTT 3 as “incredibly tough,” emphasizing the hurdles he faced during his time of seclusion. Even in the tough environment, he managed to gain worthwhile experiences and wisdom. “I’ve amassed unforgettable memories. The in-house trials made it a very intense journey (sic),” he confided. His tenure in the program also spearheaded remarkable personal growth. He shared, “I appreciated new learnings, experiences, and made cherished memories (sic).”

As the season went by, Shorey grew fond of many housemates, including the likes of Armaan Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, and Kritika Malik. Despite these bonds, he confessed, “My experiences weren’t all positive. A few personalities like Sana Makbul, Lavkesh, Vishal, and Shivani and I didn’t exactly see eye to eye (sic).”

Shorey expressed gratitude for the continuous support from his fans, particularly in his social media absence. He acknowledged their role in propelling him to his top 3 success. Looking to the future, he re-emphasised his core ambitions beyond the realm of reality television, firmly stating that his heart lies in creating films and showcasing his acting prowess rather than winning a reality show.

After a 42-day hiatus, he’s buzzing with excitement to dive into new adventures. On top of that, he sneaked in a teaser about his next project titled ‘Shekhar Home’, where Kay Kay Menon spearheads the cast. Fans are to await its release on JioCinema.
