Anjali Mukhi from Tashan-e-Ishq to enter Ishqbaaz as Anika’s mother

The hottest buzz today comes from the sets of Ishqbaaz. The constant twist and turns are keeping the viewers hooked on to the show. After Shivaay and Anika’s jungle adventure, It’s time for some emotional drama. Since a few episodes a topic of Anika’s mother is raising up again and again. Pinky’s quest to destroy Shivaay and Anika’s new found love has just begun.

The news is that Anjali Mukhi, popularly known for her roles in Zee TV’s “Tashan-E-Ishq” and Sony Tv’s “Ek Duje Ke Vaste” will mark her presence in Ishqbaaz. She will be seen playing the role of Anika’s mother, Nayantara. According to news in an entertainment portal, “Her role will be that of Anika’s (Surbhi Chandna) mother, Nayantara, a bar dancer who would have been called by Pinky to create problems in Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika’s lives. While Shivaay tries to send her away, Pinky doesn’t let that happen because that’s her only way to torment Anika.”

As per India-Forums, Anjali said,“Yes, I will be entering the show and I’ll play a bar dancer in Vidya Balan style. When I was first told that I have to play a bar dancer, I was in two minds but once I was explained the role I was up for it.”

While explaining how she got the role she said,” It so happened that I got a call saying that we would like to cast you for ‘Ishqbaaz’ and once I knew the role we started shooting the next day.
