Ankita Lokhande Comments on The ‘Koffee’ She Never Ordered Amid Rumours of Rejecting Student of The Year 3

Ankita Lokhande takes to social media and writes a cryptic post as rumours go rife about she rejecting Karan Johar's Student of The Year 3.

Mumbai: Rumours have been rife about Ankita Lokhande’s new project that she reportedly rejected. The actor, who was recently seen in Swatantra Veer Savarkar alongside Randeep Hooda, was rumoured to have rejected Student of The Year 3. Karan Johar is making the third part of the franchise as an OTT series. On Thursday, various media reports suggested that Ankita rejected the same show. However, in a new post on Friday, she quashed all the rumours of her casting in SOTY 3.

Ankita took to social media to confirm that she never ‘ordered’ this ‘koffee’, taking a dig at the reports claiming that she was offered a role in SOTY 3 but rejected the series. On Friday, the Pavitra Rishta star wrote in her Instagram stories, “Quite flattered by this rumour but this Koffee order wasn’t mine to begin with (sic).” Check out her viral cryptic post here:

Student of The Year 3 is reportedly made by Dharma 2.0, the digital wing of Dharma Productions. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor are rumoured to make their OTT debut with the series. The franchise is known for launching the biggest of the faces in Bollywood earlier including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria among others.

Ankita, meanwhile, is occupied with a new film in which she plays the role of a legendary Indian dancer from 500 BC, Amrapali. The film marks the comeback of Ismail Darbar, the man behind the fabulous compositions of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The film is produced by Ankita’s friend S Sandeep Singh.
