You read about it recently, and saw the picture too. Now here’s the video proof of actress Anushka Sharma training video for Sultan! The actress stars in the movie opposite superstar Salman Khan who plays wrestler Sultan. But guess what, Anushka is a wrestler too, and she has been having basic training in kushti for the movie! The NH10 girl is no softie and can drop a heavy man off her shoulder. Watch this video shared by Sultan producers Yash Raj Films (YRF) and you will know it’s true!

Anushka Sharma is surely giving us major fitness goals with Sultan! It’s not just her ex-boyfriend Virat Kohli who inspires people through his cricket and high levels of fitness – it’s Anushka, too. It seems when she was dating Virat (until recently), his fitness regime has rubbed off on her. Or is it just a certain hulk of a Salman Khan she is inspired by?

Whatever her inspiration is, you must watch this video of Anushka Sharma tackling this wrestler while being trained herself. Although she falters the second time around because of his weight, we like that she does not give up. Go, girl!

On January 8, 2016, YRF confirmed in a statement that Salman Khan’s heroine in Sultan will be none other than their blue-eyed girl and Anushka Sharma. Fans of both stars went berserk with this news. Not so long ago, Anushka had  debuted with YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She has been seen in Band Baaja Baaraat, Badmaash Company, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, too for the studio.

Anushka also shared her wrestling video on Twitter, saying, “Not easy but worth it. Wrestling mode ON! @sultanthemovie”.

What do you think of Anushka Sharma training for Sultan? We hope Salman Khan likes her, too!
