Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh‘s AIB Roasts created a huge stir. Till date, they are haunted by this ROAST word, all thanks to the legal action taken against them for the show. The Mubarakan star is especially scared of the word Roast. WHY? Well, recently we met the star and had a candid conversation with him about his upcoming film Mubarakan along with his co star Athiya Shetty. As he is playing a double role in the film, we asked him to roast himself, like Arjun roasting Arjun. However, the actor left us surprised by saying, “I don’t think I should use this word ever”.
Athiya too supported him and said, “He should stay away from the roast word forever”. Now we all know how AIB Roast bought a storm in Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar’s life. Many criticised them for doing it, while others supported them. However, looks like Arjun is in no mood to face that brunt all over again. So he wants to stay away from the word itself. In fact, few Bollywood celebrities too expressed their anger over the AIB Roast. Aamir Khan openly slammed Arjun, Ranveer, and Karan for doing this. When the Dangal star was asked about it, he had said, “I haven’t watched the AIB video but I have heard of it. I just watched two-three clips of it and I did not like it. When this happened, Karan and Arjun came to me and told me that they did this roast and also exchanged the dialogues they used during the show. Honestly, I was deeply affected on hearing what all they said on the show. I was very disappointed with the things that happened”.
Now wonder, Arjun has decided to put the memory of this distasteful incident in the past, forever!
