For the first time ever, Arjun Kapoor will be seen collaborating with choreographer, Farah Khan Kunder for a racy and energentic dance number, “Chumma” in Vikramaditya Motwane’s vigilante drama, Bhavesh Joshi, that stars his cousin brother, Harshavardhan Kapoor in the lead. After his last outing, which also happened to be his debut Bollywood film, Mirzya tanked at the Box Office, Harshavardhan is back to prove his worth with this film and so far the teaser that released a few weeks ago has been getting rave reviews.
A source close to the development told Mirror that it was Anil Kapoor’s idea to bring Arjun on board at the last minute for a special dance number. “He personally requested his nephew, who dotes on his chachu and immediately obliged. Arjun will be seen dancing with a bevy of models and dancers in the lavishly mounted song which will be filmed over two days in Mumbai. Harsh too will appear in the song but won’t be dancing and his face will be concealed under the mask his character sports,” the source added.
Composed by Amit Trivedi, Chumma is at par with massy chartbusters such as Delhi Belly’s “I Hate You, Like I Love You” and Dabangg 2’s “Fevicol Se”. Given that Arjun will have to leave for the international schedule of Vipul Shah’s love story, Namastey England, with Parineeti Chopra, the Bhavesh Joshi team has reportedly been very accommodative and has already started prepping for the rehearsals. The song is expected to be shot this week. Meanwhile, Arjun is reportedly also busy with the dance practices of his cousin Sonam Kapoor’s sangeet function.
