The Censor Board asked the filmmakers to remove every reference to Punjab in the title or movie as they believe it could show the state in a bad light.
The entire controversy has turned into a political battle as Assembly elections in Punjab are due for next year. AAP is leaving no stone unturned to replicate Delhi in Punjab. Kejriwal and party as already announced to raise the drug issue in poll. The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP alliance in Punjab is confronted with anti-incumbency.
