Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty and cricketer husband KL Rahul welcomed their first child on March 24, 2025. The couple was blessed with a baby girl. Taking to Instagram, the duo shared a joint post announcing the arrival of their munchkin.
Their post read, “Blessed with a baby girl. 24.03.2025. Athiya and Rahul (sic).” What was more adorable was the emoji in the caption section, which had baby with a halo and wings emoji. Back in November 2024, Athiya and KL Rahul announced the pregnancy. In a joint post they shared on Instagram, they wrote, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025 (sic).”
Athiya and KL Rahul were dating for a long period before they tied the knot in 2023. The wedding was an intimate ceremony with only close friends and family being a part of it.

As soon as the post was shared, fans as well as industry friends spammed the comment section with love and good wishes. While Shanaya Kapoor wrote “Congratulations” along with a red heart emoji, Kiara Advani dropped several red heart emojis in the comment section.
