Baaghi 3 box office collection day 2: Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer witnesses a decline, collects a total of Rs 33.53 crore

Emerging as Tiger shroff’s biggest opener on day 1, Ahmed Khan-directorial Baaghi 3, slowed down on the second day of its release. Minting Rs 16.03 crore on Saturday, the action flick, that also stars actors Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande, grossed a total of Rs 33.53 crore.

Sharing the fluctuating figures on his social media handle, Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Baaghi3 slows on Day 2… Single screens strong, metro multiplexes ordinary… Should witness growth on Day 3… Day 5 [#Holi] should see substantial footfalls, post noon onwards… Eyes ₹ 52 cr [+/-] weekend… Fri 17.50 cr, Sat 16.03 cr. The Ahmed Khan-directorial is just not Tiger’s biggest release but it’s also the year’s biggest release so far. Baaghi 3 has got 440 screens in India and a worldwide total of 5500 screens with the overseas count being 1100. This is more than what Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior got upon its release in January this year. Even Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, which was counted among the biggest films last year, could not be released on these many screens. While Tanhaji had secured around 3650 screens in India, Housefull 4 was released on around 3850 screens. Baaghi 3 has surpassed them all.

Baaghi 3 is expected to earn a bigger amount on the Holi offs, that is the actual two-festive days on Monday and Tuesday. The real trend of the film will be revealed by the end of Tuesday after Holi.
