Baaghi 3 box office collection day 4: Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer witnesses a drastic dip, comes down to a meager Rs 9.06 crore on Monday

Scaling heights ever since its release, Ahmed Khan-directorial Baaghi 3, starring actors Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande, witnessed a drastic dip on the first weekday. Having minted Rs 20.30 crore on Sunday alone, the action flick barely scraped a meager Rs 9.06 crore on Monday.

Sharing the sudden drop in figures on his social media handle, Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote subtly, “#Baaghi3 stands steady on Day 4… Single screens + plexes outside metros good… Should post strong numbers today [#Holi], post 3 pm onwards… Fri 17.50 cr, Sat 16.03 cr, Sun 20.30 cr, Mon 9.06 cr. Total: ₹ 62.89 cr. #India biz. (sic)”

The Ahmed Khan-directorial is just not Tiger’s biggest release but it’s also the year’s biggest release so far. Baaghi 3 has got 440 screens in India and a worldwide total of 5500 screens with the overseas count being 1100. This is more than what Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior got upon its release in January this year. Even Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, which was counted among the biggest films last year, could not be released on these many screens. While Tanhaji had secured around 3650 screens in India, Housefull 4 was released on around 3850 screens. Baaghi 3 has surpassed them all.

Baaghi 3 is expected to earn a bigger amount on the Holi offs, that is the actual two-festive days on Monday and Tuesday. The real trend of the film will be revealed by the end of Tuesday after Holi.
