Bollywood influencer Orry aka Orhan Awarthamani landed in big trouble. A case has been registered against Orry and seven others for consuming alcohol in a hotel in Vaishno Devi’s base camp Katra. According to the law, selling, keeping, and drinking alcohol in Katra is strictly prohibited. Police gave this information on Monday. Read on to find more details.
It is worth noting that Orry hasn’t reacted to the FIR filed against him. On March 15, a video of Orry went viral on social media, he was seen partying with his friends at a private hotel. A bottle of alcohol was also spotted in this video. After watching this video of Orry, he is also facing trolling on social media.
J&K Police said in its statement that an FIR has been registered against all these 8 people for ‘violating the law of the country’. Also, a team has been formed which will arrest them for ‘hurting the sentiments of the people’. Katra Police had received a complaint on March 15 that some guests staying in a hotel were found drinking alcohol in violation of the rules on the premises. After this, an FIR was registered against these 8 people.
“Orhan Avatramani, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Hrithik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina consumed alcohol on the hotel premises even though they were informed in advance that consumption of alcohol and non-veg food is not allowed on the hotel premises due to its proximity to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple,” a police official said, citing the complaint.
He said, “Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Senior Superintendent of Police of Reasi, Paramveer Singh has ordered the arrest of the culprits. So that people know that any such activity that hurts the sentiments of the people will not be tolerated at a religious place.
